Andrew Tuttle, from Brisbane, Australia; creates sounds that explore the relationship between instrumentation, structure and genre within electronics and acoustics. Tuttle, usually solo, although occasionally in semi-regular and ad-hoc collaboration, creates a synthesis of electronic/acoustic instrumentation and genre, and improvisation/composition performed on acoustic guitar, computer, synthesiser, banjo, harmonica, electronics, voice, etc. Andrew Tuttle is currently touring his debut EP 4064 http://www.andrewtuttle.com.au/
Buffalo, NY via Sydney via Brisbane via Melbourne globetrotter Brain Drain returns to Melbourne for a rare southern hemisphere performance. Brain Drain's beautiful minimalist-via-pop pieces straddle the divide between structure and improvisation, often revelling in the contrast between the two.
